Description of the employing organization
The Laboratory of Climate Sciences and the Environment (LSCE) is a joint research unit between the Commissariat for Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies (CEA), the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin (UVSQ) and National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). Researchers at LSCE are recognized worldwide for their expertise in the areas of measuring greenhouse gas, flux modeling of greenhouse gases, and quantification of these fluxes with inverse modeling. Technicians, engineers and researchers of LSCE move across the planet to take samples which recorded past climate variations (sediment, water, ice, air, rocks, organic material ...) or install instruments to monitor the current environment....
