1/2 journée spéciale "Réduction de l'empreinte carbone de nos activités au LSCE"

Le groupe de réflexion sur le bilan carbone du LSCE 'Low Carbon Budget' (bilan-carbone@lists.lsce.ipsl.fr) organise une demi-journée "Réduction de l'empreinte carbone de nos activités au LSCE" le Mardi 28 février, dont voici le programme à jour :
- Accueil 9h30-9h40
- ‘Réduction des émissions des scientifiques du climat’ par Corinne le Quéré de l’Université d’East Anglia (20min avec discussions ; 9h40-10h)
- ‘Les mécanismes de la compensation carbone’ par Renaud Bettin, GERES - responsable d'Info Compensation Carbone (40min avec discussions, 10h-10h40)’’
- ‘La compensation carbone dans les sols agricoles du plateau de Saclay’ par Dorian Spaak, directeur de l’association Terre Et Cité (20min avec discussions ; 10h40 - 11h00)
- Présentation de l’article ‘4 per mille’ par Bertrand Guenet du LSCE (10min avec discussion ; 11h00 - 11h10)
- ‘Reducing the carbon footprint at the University of Potsdam’ par Bernhard Schauberger LSCE – PIK (10 min avec discussions ; 11h10 - 11h20)
- Discussions et mise en place d’actions concrètes au LSCE (11h20 - 13h, jusqu’au buffet => cf mail à venir sur les détails pratiques)

L’ensemble du personnel du LSCE est invité à participer à cette matinée. Nous espérons vous y voir nombreux, et que cette matinée débouchera sur des actions concrètes pour que nous enclenchions une vraie transition vers une empreinte carbone nulle, en accord avec le message que nous adressons à la société.

Les présentations seront en français et les supports visuels (diapos) seront en anglais. Ce compromis devrait permettre à l’ensemble du personnel de pouvoir suivre les présentations. Les discussions seront librement en français ou en anglais. Nous avons conscience que ce format demandera un effort aux non-anglophones et aux non-francophones par moments, mais nous en appelons à votre bonne volonté pour faire en sorte que cet événement soit le plus fructueux possible en termes d’échanges.

The think tank about the reduction of the carbon budget of the LSCE is organizing a half-day on "Reducing the Carbon Footprint of our activities at LSCE" on the 28th of February. The updated program is:

- Discussions and decisions about concrete actions at LSCE (11h20 - 13h, until shared buffet => cf following email on practical details)

All the employees of LSCE are invited to attend this morning event. We hope to see you in numbers, and that this event will trigger concrete actions so that we start a real transition toward a zero carbon footprint, according to the message we bring to society.

The oral presentations will be in French and the visual material (the slides) will be in English. This compromise should allow everybody to follow the presentations. The discussions will be freely in French or English at convenience. We are aware that this format will require an effort for the non-english-speakers and/or the non-french-speakers from time to time, but we count on your good will to do your best to make this event as fruitful as possible in terms of exchanges.
