CLIMAG
The « Climag » team is involved in two main research topics (1)  reconstruction of present and past environments by investigating the magnetic properties of sediments, and (2) high-resolution studies of past geomagnetic field variations, a chronometer for long distance correlations of past climatic and environmental changes records.

GEOTRAC

OCEANIS
The OCEANIS team is interested in the fate of organic and inorganic carbon in aquatic environments, particularly coastal environments, deltas and estuaries.
PALEOCEAN
The scientific themes of the Paleocene team are articulated around four axes whose common objective is to improve the understanding of the different mechanisms that play a role in climate variability over the past hundreds of thousands of years, and their interactions with global climatology, such as greenhouse gases (through the carbon cycle), ice caps, the continental biosphere.
