Le contenu du séminaire portera sur les questions scientifiques suivantes :

What do we mean when we say, “limit warming by 1.5°C or 2°C?”
What assumptions are built in on time, magnitude, duration, and rate of warming?
Why should we care about both nearer-term and longer-term warming?
What is overshoot and how well can we characterize the risks?
Do we need a near-term temperature target?
If the carbon budget is a metric for meeting longer-term temperature targets, what would a metric for meeting nearer-term temperature targets look like?
What does all this mean for impacts, risks, and policy?
