[OCEANIS] Gulf of Mexico campaign (GoM22) – July 2022

Oceanographic campaign in the Gulf of Mexico, aboard the Research Vessel Savannah (Skidaway Institute of Oceanography), from July 2022, by the LSCE OCEANIS team in collaboration with the Georgia Institute of Technology and Florida Atlantic University.

Sampling campaign between the hypoxic Louisiana continental shelf and the continental slope off the Mississippi. In-situ measurements, interface coring and hydro rosette were carried out. The aim is to identify and quantify the dominant processes in the sedimentary column and bottom waters in relation to the major issue of progressive acidification of coastal waters.
