The SpectroDendro technical platform is dedicated to the determination of δ13C and δ18 isotope ratios in tree-ring cellulose for dendroisotopy purposes. This technical platform is part of the “ Stable Spectrometry ” instrument network of the RéGEF research infrastructure, and is integrated into the PANOPLY platform shared by LSCE and GEOPS.
The technical facilities include a sample preparation line and two isotope ratio mass spectrometers:
- a Vario PYRO cube – Isoprime PrecisION, Elementar® for δ13C and δ18O determination in cellulose and wood
- a Vario MICRO cube – Isoprime, Elementar® for the determination of δ13C in cellulose and wood
