PhD position on the Climate of the Mediterranean region at the University of Salento (Lecce, Italy)

a PhD position for carrying out research on the Climate of the Mediterranean region in the framework of the global climate change will be made soon available at the University of Salento.

The topic can be addressed considering different perspectives:
– detection and attribution of climate change at regional scale,
– dynamics of regional climate change,
– impacts of climate change at regional scale

Candidates are expected to have basic skills in programming, data analysis and processing, and a basic knowledge of the dynamics leading to climate and environmental change. Capability of talking Italian language at elementary level is recommended.
