Successful launch of MicroCarb, the first CO2 monitoring and mapping mission

The European Vega-C rocket successfully launched on the night of July 25-26, 2025, from the Kourou Space Center in French Guiana. The rocket placed several satellites into orbit, including MicroCarb, a device dedicated to monitoring carbon dioxide (CO2), the main greenhouse gas responsible for global warming.
