L’objectif du poste est de contribuer à la coordination et à l’activité scientifique de l’infrastructure de recherche nationale de modélisation du climat CLIMERI-France, et au développement de la dimension européenne de l’infrastructure de recherche, ENES-RI.

L'ingénieur-e de recherche travaillera en étroite collaboration avec le comité de direction de l’IR nationale et avec l’équipe de coordination de l’IR européenne. La mission est essentiellement une mission de coordination et de suivi des activités en soutien aux activités nationales et européennes de modélisation du climat, dans un contexte international de réalisation de simulations de référence, de partage de données issues des simulations numériques et de partage de compétence autour de logiciels.

The objective of the position is to contribute to the coordination and scientific activity of the national climate modeling research infrastructure CLIMERI-France and to the development of the European dimension of the research infrastructure, ENES-RI. The project manager will work in close collaboration with the national Research Infrastructure Steering Committee and with the European Research Infrastructure coordination team. The mission is essentially a mission of coordination and monitoring of activities in support of national and European climate modeling activities, in an international context of carrying out reference simulations, sharing data from numerical simulations and sharing skills around software.
