The IPSL invites applications for two postdoctoral scholars or research engineers in earth system or computer sciences to work on the implementation of water isotopes in the NEMO_v4 ocean model and in the ORCHIDEE vegetation and land surface model, in anticipation of the development of an isotope-enabled version of the IPSL Earth System Model. The successful candidates will be based at Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement (LSCE) but will collaborate closely with partners at Laboratoire de Météorologie Dynamique (LMD) and Laboratoire d'Océanographie et du Climat: Expérimentations et Approches Numériques (LOCEAN). The initial appointments are for 18 months.
