The unprecedented decline of the Earth’s carbon sink
By 2023, the Earth’s ecosystem will have lost more than half its capacity to absorb atmospheric CO2. This conclusion of an international study involving the CEA raises uncertainties and concerns about the future stability of the climate. It calls for urgent action to be taken.
