Je suis professeur à l’Université de Versailles Saint Quentin en Yvelines (UVSQ). J’enseigne à l’UVSQ dans l’observatoire des sciences de l’univers (OVSQ et au département des sciences physiques). Je suis directeur du LSCE depuis le 1e octobre 2019. Je fais ma recherche au LSCE dans l’équipe d’inversion et assimilation sur le cycle du carbone.
Sujets de recherche
Je travaille sur la modélisation directe et inverse des gaz à effet de serre de l’atmosphère terrestre. La modélisation directe consiste à représenter les concentrations de gaz à effet de serre dans l’atmosphère à l’aide d’un modèle de chimie-transport atmosphérique. La modélisation inverse consiste à optimiser les sources et puits de gaz à effet de serre afin que les concentrations modélisées s’ajustent au mieux aux observations, compte tenu d’un connaissance a priori des sources et puits et des incertitudes sur les différentes composantes du système.
